FASCIA EXAMPLE & INSTALLATION (left illustration) Do not install trim boards that have a moisture content over 18%.(For interior use, boards must be acclimated). Create separation of materials by inserting housewrap which incorporates rainscreen (e.g. Home Slicker) between the framing member and fascia board. Remember, make sure that there is 2" of clearance between your fascia and all roofing materials.
