Make Measurements.

Measure down 47 ½" from the bottom of the track and make a small line on the edge of the door near where the handle will be installed. Note 1: Please ensure your door is fully installed and remains on the track before installing Renin's Easy Latch. Note 2: Latch Handle Assembly is located on the inside of room requiring privacy

A) Position the bottom edge of one (1) T bracket on the line, centered on the edge of the door and mark a hole location in the center of each slot. B) Position the top edge of the door handle assembly at the line made in Step 1, ensuring the small lip is located on the edge of the door and mark the 4 hole locations with an awl. Note: A nail will also suffice. C) Position the top edge of one (1) T bracket 5/8" from the top of the door edge, centered on the door side and mark a hole location in the center of each slot.

A) Using a 1/8" drill bit, drill all the marked hole locations ¾" deep, including the front door assembly holes. Note: Do not drill deeper then ¾" and/or do not drill through the door.

Attach Both T Brackets

A) Affix both T brackets ( 1 upper and 2 lower) using the 1" screws provided. Note: Ensure the brackets are centered on the door.

5 A) Insert the square

A) Insert the

8 engagement pin block assembly into the bottom end of the rod, with the pin facing the side of the door the handle will be affixed to (as shown in step 8). Note: Angle the rod slightly so you can access the screw holes and affix with the screws provided. A) Position the handle assembly on the door, ensuring the handle is in the lowered position (as shown) and the engagement pin is located in the slot of the handle. B) Affix the handle assembly to the predrilled holes in the door using the screws provided.

Replace End Stops

A) Remove the existing door stops from each end of the track. B) Replace with the End Stops provided. C) Position End Stops so the door is in the desired open and closed position and tighten the set screws with Allen Key. Note: The New End Stops should work on most standard 78 3/4˝ and 96˝ track.

Set the Catch Block

A) Have a second person stay on the handle side of the door (Front) while you move the door to the closed position. B) Hold the Catch Block onto the bottom of the track Note: Place outside of the new end stop with the Catch Block set screws facing toward the back. C) Have the other person push the handle in and rotate it downward to raise the rod into the catch block. D) Tighten the set screws. Note: Ensure the handle seats in the locked position, and has to be pushed inward to actuate the rod up or down.

A) Snap the cover onto the handle assembly ensuring the emergency key slots face the side of the rod.

A) Test the

emergency key so you are familiar with how it operates. B) Store the key at the back of the track, between the track and the catch block as shown.

5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Renin warranties their products against manufacturing defects for up to three years from the purchase date. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product from Renin. If a product is determined to be defective due to a manufacturing defect, Renin will supply a replacement product.

The scope of the warranty is limited to replacing the product and does not include labor required to install, repair or deliver, or any costs related to removing the existing product. This warranty is void in the event that the product is damaged in transit, or if damage or failure is caused by abuse, misuse, storage of products in an improper environment, abnormal usage, faulty installation, failure to follow installation instructions, damage in an accident, improper maintenance, or any repair.
