PREMIUM SPECIES / WINDER TREADS Plain treads are square three sides and nosed one edge with a sanded face. Risers are S4S with a sanded face. Tread thickness is 1-1/32" with a tolerance of plus or minus 1/32". Riser thickness is 3/4" with a tolerance of plus or minus 1/32". Call for special quote for CLEAR grade pricing on wood species other than white oak.

Other species such as quarter sawn white oak, sapele and fir are available.

PACKAGING Each end of the post has a custom fitted protective cap that suspends the newel in the box. Our double wall corrugated cardboard boxes enable us to safely ship our newels and assure they arrive in perfect condition.
